Chemistry

Chemistry is the study of matter (not just chemicals), and how they interact with each other. Scholars examine atomic structure, gases, liquids, behavior of elements, chemical reactions, ionic and covalent bonding, molecular structures and shapes. The sciences teach scholars how to reason and solve problems. In addition to preparation for college, chemistry gives scholars vital knowledge to help them make sense of current events, composition of products, environmental issues, and technological advancements. When you understand "WHY" things work a certain way, multiple doors open!
