Alyssa Renaud, M.A.

Alyssa Renaud graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in communications and film and earned a master’s degree in journalism from Emerson College. Ms. Renaud loves creating videos. She has been a news reporter since she joined her high school newspaper. She produced digital videos for the USA TODAY Network. Ms. Renaud has experience as a freelance writer for an Air Force Base newspaper, a women’s online magazine, and a tech news site. She has directed and produced her own short films and worked on other film projects as a video editor and production assistant. Ms. Renaud was a graduate assistant for Emerson College’s high school summer journalism program and mentored high school students in video production from all over the Boston area while an intern for The Transformative Culture Project.




What are your other passions/interests?
I love watching movies, traveling, and playing board games!

computer science? 
Computer science is a great tool to express ideas and share information!

What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy writing, reading, watching films and cooking.

Where did you grow up?

My hometown is Oklahoma City, though I grew up in a military family and have lived in many places.

What is your favorite food?

Filipino Food made by my grandma!
