Hi! I'm Mr. Gourdie. Oklahoma native here, born and raised. After college I spent some time abroad in Japan, teaching English to high school students and soaking up the culture.

After nearly a decade in Japan I landed back in the states in Arizona. I taught English Literature at a school there for 3 years before packing up and moving with my family to Oklahoma.

I look forward to a fulfilling year here at ASTEC and couldn't be happier to see all of these smiling faces in my classroom.
