Hello! My name is Shanah Cureton, and I am your child's ASTEC Kindergarten teacher.

This will be my third school year teaching and my second year in kindergarten. My passion for making learning fun encourages my scholars to excel in the classroom and out in their communities. In our classroom, we learn compassion, friendship, leadership, and kindness. If we can hold on to these four strong and important qualities, we can do anything. 

 

At home, I have three of my own children: Savanah, 10, in 5th grade, Samuel, 7, who is in second grade, and finally Spencer, who is 2 years old. I have been married for 12 years, and we own a small business together. As a family, we also have two dogs, cats, and many more animals on the property.

In my spare time, I love to play sports with my family, create art and crafts, and remodel our house.
