Hello! I am Ms. Young and I am your child's ASTEC Kindergarten teacher.

I am an educator with over three decades of experience at the public school and university levels.

 

I am married and have three children, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. I love to travel and have been to five countries in Europe and one in South America. 

 

In my spare time, I write books, plays, and musicals and have been a producer/director of theater productions. I have a much-loved, seven-pound Chihuahua who I love and care for unconditionally

 

In my class, we will learn a lot and have a lot of fun doing it. I ask my students to bring their "can do" attitude and their biggest smile. We will have a marvelous time together in kindergarten!
