ASTEC MIDDLE SCHOOL

My name is Carolyn Patrick, and I’m am an educator with a heart for growing new phenomenas and interest in learning within STEAM education. I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University  with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Science. In 2025, I had the privilege to be nominated and accept the prestigious Willie O' Neil Excellence in Science Teaching Award while teaching in Oklahoma City Public School's District. I am currently working towards my Master's in Education for English Language Learners. 
 
It is my hope to lead the growth in building a foundation and love for learning in computer science and STEAM education that drives new experiences. I am committed to my personal growth in education and I value learning as I accept the privilege the grow the next generation of advanced education scholars.
