Hello Everyone!

My goal is to teach students how to think critically about information, to collaborate with their peers, and to develop reading and writing skills in the context of social studies they will use all their lives.

​

I have lived in Oklahoma City most of my life where I attended Putnam City Public Schools. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with my Bachelor's in History Education, and in 2024, I graduated from OSU with a Master's in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership with an emphasis on literacy instruction. I've been a teacher at ASTEC for the past ten years.

I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with family.
