I was born in Oklahoma City and primarily raised in Houston and Yukon where I was very involved in competitive speech and debate, basketball, the academic team, student council, and National Honor Society.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Secondary English Education. I have taught multiple grade levels for Mustang Public Schools and El Reno Public Schools. I have also coached award-winning academic teams in both district and regional competitions prior to coming to ASTEC.

I enjoy traveling, cooking, the outdoors, being creative, and of course reading in my spare time.
