Hi! I’m Darbi Wallis, and I was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Oklahoma State University. I’m a National Board Certified teacher and also hold principal certifications for both elementary and secondary levels.

Over the past 3 decades, I’ve had the opportunity to teach everything from 1st through 8th grade, as well as college-level English composition at Oklahoma State University and Northern Oklahoma College. I later stepped into administration in Lawton, Oklahoma, and eventually moved to the Oklahoma City area to pursue my doctorate in Education Administration and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University!

My best friend and husband, Richie, is an insurance agent here in OKC. Together, we’re proud parents of three grown kids and grandparents to two wonderful grandsons.
