Hello Everyone!

Hello! My name is Sareka Lewis. I was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia. I am the oldest of two. I graduated from Cedar Grove High School in May 2013, then went to Georgia State University to receive a Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Grades Education, with concentrations in Mathematics and Social Studies in May 2017. I then began my teaching career that July. In 2019, I returned to school to obtain my Master's degree in Middle Grades Mathematics. This 2025-2026 school year will be my ninth year teaching. Wow! Time has flown! I still remember my first set of kiddos! 

I got married in May 2024 and I have three children, two daughters and a son. I love being with my family, whether we are just hanging out at home or out on an adventure. I enjoy fellowshipping with my church community and being around like-minded individuals.

When I'm not in the classroom helping students grow, you can also probably find me planning my next adventure or hunting down the best local eats! I look forward to learning and growing in knowledge about each of you. Let's make this year a journey full of fun, curiosity, and learning.
