Mr. Devan McCoy
I’m Mr. McCoy, and I’m from Muskogee, Oklahoma. My journey in the performing arts started back in 2002 when I attended Sadler Arts Academy—a school where creativity and the arts were a part of everyday learning. That’s where I first discovered my love for film and performing arts.

I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma fall of 2022. I’ve worked with companies entertainment teams like the Dallas Cowboys, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Race dance collective —experiences that helped me grow not just as a performer but also as a person. I see film as a powerful way to express art and to connect with others, no matter where you come from.

Like legendary film directors — Spike Lee, Kenon Wayne’s and Jordan Peele—I believe in pushing the envelope of production. I see this new age of visual arts as a big opportunity for film to tell new stories, embrace different cultures, and inspire others to be confident in their own skin.
