My wonderful grandparents raised me in Paris, TX. I attended Wiley University (Home of the Great Debaters). I hold a BA in English and an MS.ED in Educational Administration. I am currently pursuing a second master's degree in English. 

 
In my career, I have taught all levels of English and Reading from grades 3-12. I have also been a very successful head varsity boys' basketball coach. I am a die-hard San Antonio Spurs and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  I enjoy being with my family, traveling, shopping, trying new eating establishments, and self-care in my leisure time. I have a son who is in seventh grade and who plays football and participates in martial arts.
