Deija Chiles is from Atlanta, Georgia. She first moved to Oklahoma to attend college at Langston University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. She is currently working to earn her master's degree in Sports Administration.

Prior to joining ASTEC, Ms. Chiles taught English, Science and coached softball. She also taught 4th-grade refresher summer courses at the Oklahoma Youth Literacy Program in OKC.

 

She enjoys teaching and helping ASTEC scholars grow confidence in their physical and sport-related goals. 

 

In her spare time, Ms. Chiles enjoys traveling, playing sports, coaching, and spending time with her family and friends.
